Season 2
Season 2 was a short one, just 9 episodes, but it’s notable for a couple reasons. Barbara Corcoran, Robert Herjavec, Daymond John, Kevin Harrington, and Kevin O’Leary were all back, but the big deal was the guest sharks. Mark Cuban showed up for the first time and Jeff Foxworthy stopped by too.
This was Kevin Harrington’s last season as a regular shark, which was kind of the end of an era even though the show was still brand new.
Some memorable products from this season: Tippi Toes did dance classes for kids, Toygaroo tried to make toy rental a thing, and the Wake n’ Bacon was literally an alarm clock that cooked bacon to wake you up. You also had Lightfilm doing peel-and-stick lights for cars and the Original Man Candle which was candles but marketed toward guys. The show was still pretty scrappy at this point but the chemistry between the sharks was already starting to click.
