Season 16
Season 16 was a big deal for a couple reasons. Daniel Lubetzky got promoted from guest shark to full-time shark, and this was Mark Cuban’s last season as a main shark. Cuban had been on the show since season 3 so that’s a pretty major change for the show going forward.
The returning sharks were Mark Cuban, Kevin O’Leary, Lori Greinerr, Daymond John, and Barbara Corcoran. Guest sharks this season included Jamie Kern Lima who co-founded IT Cosmetics, Todd Graves the founder of Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers, Rashaun L. Williams a venture capitalist, and Kendra Scott the jewelry designer who had been a guest shark before.
The season ran 20 episodes from October 2024 to May 2025. With Cuban on his way out and Lubetzky stepping up, it felt like the start of a new chapter for the show.
